We're back to recap a great week of comics we read here at GamingTrend.com last week! We have three comics to showcase this week: one from Dark Horse Comics, one from Marvel Comics, and one from Titan Manga. We also have a Solomon Kane review from Tim Jenkins! At the end, keep an eye out for a preview of what we're looking at this week!

The Witcher: The Bear and the Butterfly – Issue #4/4

This brutal series from Dark Horse Comics and CD Projekt Red shows us how difficult being a Witcher actually can be with a story that is never once what it seems. The twists and turns will keep any fantasy fan interested while giving Witcher fans a lot to be excited about.

My favorite aspect of this series was the ability to see Geralt's full way of handling a situation from start to finish. Including seeing him make the potions and cocktails needed for his fighting, tracking down beasts based on different prints, sniffing out fakes in people and beast alike, and more!

You can now read this entire story from Dark Horse Comics!

Geralt and Tila present the killer to the townsfolk, but where monsters roam, so flows deceit. A decades’ long grudge shows it…

Amazing Spider-Man: Torn – Issue #2

After the cliff-hanger of Issue #1, Peter is once again dealing with multiple situations at the same time featuring himself or Spider-Man. Can he get the balance right this time?

While both Spider-Man and his new enemy Evangeline are trying to figure out HOW an assassin turned into a demon-spawn... Peter is trying to navigate starting a relationship!? While this had less combat than the first issue, it's always great seeing Peter/Spider-Man put the pieces of the conflict together while still try to be a normal college student.

Dopeman – Vol. 3

This is the final volume for Dopeman and it does not disappoint. For only three volumes, Dopeman was able to tell a story that had everything you would want from a dystopian manga. Action that looks great, a story that's both heartbreaking and heartfelt, characters that are loveable even if they're grumps, and more.

The story ends in a great place, but I would say we do have a door open for more for sure! This broken future seems ever-more real in some aspects and I think they could really do even more with some of the characters we met through Dopeman Vol. 1-3.

You can now pick-up the full story from Titan Manga!

Solomon Kane: The Serpent Ring – Vol. 1

Solomon Kane: The Serpent Ring Vol. 1 is a thrilling addition to the history of the Sword of Vengeance. With no shortage of action, a compelling quest, and a powerful adversary, it has everything a lover of adventure stories could want.

While the story is steeped with connections to the broader Howardverse being built by Titan Comics, it easily stands on its own feet without requiring readers to read a myriad of other comics to understand what’s going on.
