We're back to recap a great week of comics we read here at GamingTrend.com last week! We have three comics to showcase this week; two from Dark Horse Comics and one from Titan Manga. At the end, keep an eye out for a preview of what we're taking a look at this week!

Stranger Things: Tales from Hawkins II – Issue #3/4

We get a little more background about how the Starcourt Mall was created to be a hidden base from the most recent season of Stranger Things.

This issue is a tad more intense than some issues from the Tales from Hawkins lineup, but still has the humor you come to expect from the Stranger Things world.

It's been fun to have some of the gaps in the story filled by comics, with one issue left, what story will we have last?

Welcome to Ghost Mansion – Volume 1 + 2

A young woman chooses to spend her post-student time by purchasing and managing a block of apartments so she can create some "passive income." Like everything that seems to good to be true, it is, and the apartment block is "haunted."

This story is full of fun and heart as Kaoru (the landlord/spirit manager) and Tsuzumi (the spirit hunter) learn about their tenants' past while exploring the options for the future.

I generally love vignettes and Welcome to Ghost Mansion is no exception. If you're looking for a fun story with interesting characters, look no further.

Critical Role: Vox Machina Origins I – Issue #3/6

We learn this issue that some of our heroes are a bit squeamish when it comes to torture, which tends to be a good thing for heroes to be squeamish about, I'd say.

The story takes a jump forward as more heroes we know and love are finding each other while trying to do multiple tasks that happen to all send them to similar places.

It's been great getting more background for some of the characters like Scanlan and Keyleth, with more characters coming soon! If you're a Critical Role fan, this is a great chance for more worldbuilding in a new format!
