We're back to recap a great week of comics we read here at GamingTrend.com last week! We have three comics to showcase this week: two from Marvel Comics one from Dark Horse Comics. We also have a Conan the Barbarian review from Tim Jenkins! At the end, keep an eye out for a preview of what we're looking at this week!

The Magic Order 5 – Issue #5
Considering this is the penultimate issue of the series, you know it's going to go BIG. You can also tell a lot about how full an issue is by the preview pages. If these are the PREVIEW PAGES, how much is going to happen in the whole issue? Well, a lot.
Thankfully, Millar does a great job of giving us a lot so the ending is just that much juicer, without making the issue "too much." Will Cordelia save the world, her team, herself? Will the ancient rules of the Order leave her alone in her time of need? We'll find out in the final issue!

Marvel Rivals: King in Black (2025) – Issue #1
It's going to take more than an ultimate ability and teamwork to get the Marvel rivals out of this mess, as we join a group of would-be partygoers on a one-way trip to calamity and woe on the planet Klyntar, home of VENOM!

Conan: Scourge of the Serpent – Issue #2
Building from the events of issue 1, Conan: Scourge of the Serpent #2 provides a decent balance of action and exposition, providing some insight into the serpentine threat.
While the story doesn't move forward as much as expected, it's ultimately a good second chapter in what promises to be an epic addition to the Howardverse!
