We're back to recap a great week of Comics & Manga we read here at GamingTrend.com last week! We have three comics to showcase this week: one from Dark Horse Comics, one from Marvel Comics, and one from Titan Comics. We also Tim Jenkin's impressions of the newest Spider-Man Noir series! At the end, keep an eye out for a preview of what we're looking at this week!

Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories - Codebreaker – Issue #4/4

The adventure closes in a very "Poe Dameron" way which works well for letting the Sequel Trilogy breathe while also providing enough new content to keep the era relevant.

Poe and BB-8 must figure out how to help the Codebreaker (who is not a computer program, but a young girl) escape a First Order Resurgent-class Star Destroyer without causing too much alarm. Poe teams up with an old Battle Droid to help escape, so who knows what sort of shenanigans might come their way!

Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories--Codebreaker #4 :: Profile :: Dark Horse Comics
Cornered by the Banshee of Bestine, Poe and BB-8 have only one way to escape with the code breaker and their lives. The Resistance pilot must improvise for a last-ditch dog fight against his nemesis. What follows is a feat of flying that will take all of Poe’s knowledge, skill, and dumb luck to survive! Don’t miss the high-octane conclusion to this miniseries!• Series finale!

The End 2099 (2025) – Issue #1

2099 has always been an interesting Marvel time period to look through. The heroes all have futuristic uniforms, the world is always in some sort of mess, and you never know who the real heroes and villains are at any given time.

Throw in MEPHISTO wanting to take on Abyssyus and you get a war between heroes and villains of different timelines and universes. This issue was a great setup to something clearly bigger than we've seen before from the 2099 series! I cannot wait to see where this one goes next!

Saint Seiya: Dark Wing – Vol. 2

This take on Greek Mythology has us always wondering "who will the next to wake up be?" While the protagonist we got to know in Vol. 1 takes a back seat, we get to focus on Athena and the individuals who are tasked with keeping her safe.

The art is absolutely stunning and the level of detail will have you staring at some of the panels for a lot longer than some other manga in the same vein. The action sequences are wild considering we're discussing god-level power and different kinds of power. This is a series that is on my, "I must get to the next one ASAP" list.

You can get this on December 16th just in time for the Holiday Season!

Spider-Man Noir – Issue #2 and #3 Impressions

Picking up from the events of the first issue, Marvel’s Spider-Man Noir (2025) #2-#3 shift away from the mystery of Captain Stacy’s death to one with potentially much farther reaching consequences. Spider-Man finds himself going up against Nazi forces in America, providing both exciting, action-packed escapades and a commentary that feels all too appropriate in the modern political/social climate.

When not battling Nazis, Spidey finds himself facing troubles of his own in his personal life, which don’t seem to be ending anytime soon. With suspense, action, mystery, and plenty of heart, these issues continue what issue #1 started and raise the stakes to #11.

Spider-Man Noir (2025) #2-3 impressions — Crooked cops, Nazis, and secret identities: which will prove to be Spidey’s greatest challenge?
Captain Stacy’s death is only the tip of the iceberg in this rapidly growing mystery

Coming this week from GamingTrend Comics & Manga:
