We're back to recap a great week of comics we read here at GamingTrend.com! We have two comics from Dark Horse Comics and one from Titan Comics this week with an interview from Momocon at the end! If you like video games and horror, then we had a great week of comics to talk about! Get ready for some intense storytelling and a lot of great art!

Assassin's Creed Mirage: A Soar of Eagles – Issue #3
The final act of the Soar of Eagles brings us to the beginning of Assassin’s Creed Mirage. While it was a shorter story, it was interesting seeing some of the background the area and previous Assassin's in the area.
My biggest complaint of the series was just how dark it was. The story was great, the characters are interesting, and the villains are some extremely dynamic until the end of the story.

Jumpscare – Issue #4
This final issue is everything you’d want it to be if you’ve been following the story from the beginning. From a jailbreak to a final conflict, this story has it all. I've enjoyed everything from the story to the artwork and every reference thrown at us!
We’ll see if anything comes from the way the story ended, no spoilers, with somewhat of a cliffhanger. I’d love to see where Jumpscare can go from here. A brilliant use of horror, religious trauma, and parental trauma all wrapped up in a single story.

Dead Space: Salvage – Vol. 2
Eerie and horrifying are the only descriptions that I can use for how terrifying the situation in Salvage would be to live through. You don't have text bubbles, all of the text is floating in the dead of space. There's also such a wonderful line walked between the usage of blue/green vs red/black to show the fear factors.
Imagine walking into a job and seeing the entire crew not only dead, but already morphed like the main character walked through the scene already and you’re what comes after.
If you like Dead Space, you’ll love Salvage.

We Interview: Johnny Young
During Momocon 2025 we had a chance to talk with Johnny Young who plays Crypto in Apex Legends! What's really great about Johnny is how open he is about his excitement that he gets to be in this field of acting. He's already done so many cool things, it'll be exciting to see what he does next!
Coming this week from GamingTrend Comics:
Impressions of Critical Role: Vox Machina Origins I – Issue #2, The Magic Order 5 – Issue #3, and Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories: The Bad Batch--Ghost Agents – Issue #4!
