We're back to recap a great week of Comics & Manga we read here at GamingTrend.com last week! We have three comics to showcase this week: one from Dark Horse Comics, one from Marvel Comics, and one from Titan Manga.
We also have Tim Jenkins' impressions of the most recent issue of Runescape: Untold Tales of the God Wars! At the end, keep an eye out for a preview of what we're looking at this week!

Cover page and first five pages for Tomb Raider: Sacred Artifacts #2
Tomb Raider: Sacred Artifacts – Issue #2
If you've never played Tomb Raider or watched any of the movies or shows, this is an excellent series to get into the legend of the Tomb Raider. Lara Croft has everything you could ever want: money, fame, friends, loved ones. However, she's always looking for the next adventure with said friends leaving some of the money and fame to the wayside.
The story is a very straightforward Tomb Raider story featuring history, adventure, and plenty of danger. I'm excited to see how this four-part adventure goes!

Three cover photos featuring Rogue for Rogue #2
Rogue (2026) – Issue #2
It's always exciting when we get to see more of an X-Man's past life. Rogue is one of the most interesting as she's been a part of multiple groups, led groups, and been betrayed by groups. This story has been especially brutal seeing an aged Mystique having to try and balance telling Rogue everything and providing only the information she needs.
If you're a fan of the X-Men, this series is a wonderful story featuring some heavy hitters in the X-Men universe. An older Rogue with Gambit ready for her call finding her past, what could be better?

Cover and various pages of Farewell, My Odin Vol. 1
Farewell, My Odin – Vol. 1
When you don't know what to expect, that's when a story can sometimes just slam its way into your heart. That's what happened with Farewell, My Odin. The young Wolf-Boy, Luke, is taken in by a sweet Father after a Viking raid has left the town devastated and needing a guardian. They train him to be more human, but never let go of his wolf-instincts.
After an... incident, Luke is on his own and that's where the vengeance story takes hold. The art is spectacular and the story brings you to tears. I cannot be more excited for Volume 2.

Alternative covers for single issues inside of Runescape: Untold Tales of the God Wars Vol. 1!
Runescape: Untold Tales of the God Wars – Vol. 1 impressions
Vol. 1 brings us back into the world of the mmorpg as various factions fight for possession of the legendary Godsword. Beyond a common goal, the factions are connected by way of the story’s protagonist, a smart-mouthed familiar named Maro, who finds himself on the greatest adventure of his life. With plenty of fantasy action and intriguing concepts, the story has plenty to offer whether you're familiar with the game or just a fan of fantasy.
It doesn't take itself too seriously, but neither does it feel like a parody of the genre. It simply remains true to the world it's set in, providing an epic tale of adventure seasoned with a healthy amount of humor and finished off by an unexpected yet deeply satisfying conclusion.
