Quick recap: Around July 2025, Krafton claimed that Unknown Worlds’ (Bloomberg paywall) leadership wasn’t actively working on the game, so Krafton fired them and delayed Subnautica 2, the game Unknown Worlds is developing. The now-former leadership of Unknown Worlds sued Krafton in response. Here’s a fuller write-up of some of the situation.
