Razer has been making some sharp equipment as of recently. With so many products spanning many aspects of your day-to-day gaming, it's no wonder my desk is full of Razer goodness. I fully believe in what the team has been delivering, and hopefully in discussing some of their first-rate qualities, you'll think so too. Look below to find six reasons why Razer should take over your desk!

8K polling rate
I used to think of this as a buzzword. Razer not only helped me understand the point of a great polling rate, but caused me to seek after the best ones. The design team has integrated 8K polling into a lot of their products. As someone who plays competitive shooters, this connectivity is necessary for your setup. Between my Razer Wolverine V3 Pro 8K PC controller, the Razer DeathAdder V4 Pro, and the new Razer Huntsman V3 Pro 8K gaming keyboard, it covers all the bases for anyone looking to play at a pro level. While it may not get mentioned as much, the HyperSpeed tech for their BlackShark V3 Pro gaming headset also provides the lowest latency on the market, ensuring you hear the sound cues to prepare your next move before your opponent.
Precise buttons and keys
We all want our presses to be registered accurately. Part of that is the polling rate mentioned above, but if the press isn’t comfortable or the measurements are off, you won’t be hitting your punches, kicks, or shots. Razer has been on the money with recent additions, both on controller, keyboard, and mouse. For controllers, the latest Wolverine and Raiju controllers utilize mecha-tactile buttons, giving them a satisfying click not unlike Razer’s gaming mouse clicks.

For gaming keyboards, mice, and the often forgotten arcade controller, Razer uses their incredibly precise optical switches and sensors. On the DeathAdder V4 Pro, even the mouse clicks and scroll wheel are measured by optical methods. Between this and 8K, I’ve never had a more accurate shot with an AWP in Counter-Strike 2.
Moving onto the keyboard and arcade controller, these are your standard (for Razer) optical switches. Because of adjustable actuation with an on-board indicator, the Huntsman V3 Pro TKL keyboard is a weapon of choice in any game you play. Similarly, the Razer Kitsune arcade controller is lightning fast, with outstanding response times you’ll need in a pinch when competing in the likes of Mortal Kombat 1, Street Fighter 6, or the upcoming MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls. If you desire precision, Razer has you covered.

Build quality
I have yet to pick up a Razer product that doesn’t feel premium, even when it’s a more inexpensive model. With that in mind, the pricier stuff is top-notch, carefully curated by the techies of the design team. As much as Razer is known for their RGB lighting, it’s nice to see how intentional they are with it, as the DeathAdder V4 Pro might not be a looker, but man, is it not perfect for what it is.
With the recent Huntsman, Razer saw the feedback on how typing just wasn’t as great. In comes the 8K, which is a dream to type on. I love that the team looks to improve on the build quality of each device, molding it into a high-end choice. As someone who reviewed the BlackShark V2 Pro, it was a cool headset, but lacking when compared to their contemporaries. The V3 Pro takes the entire headset to the next level, not only updating but upgrading it into a beast. A lot of companies offer lower prices, but the amount of quality Razer presents is staggering.
Supreme comfort
It doesn’t matter how great a device is, if it isn’t comfortable to use, you’ll get rid of it quickly. Razer doesn’t have any issues here. The DeathAdder V4 Pro gaming mouse may be the most comfortable mouse design I’ve ever used. There’s something about the ergonomics that make it feel like a natural extension of your hand.

Razer’s BlackShark V3 Pro headset is surprisingly comfortable, even during very long gaming sessions. I’ve tended to prefer headsets sporting the ski-band that keeps the headset off your head as it keeps you from that odd trapped heat that gets uncomfortable under the headset’s headband. Maybe it’s just how light it is – weighing in at less than a pound – but the fit is just as light, letting your head and ears have a break. Speaking of ears, the seal around them is sublime, with big enough earcups to cover most people’s. Even glasses don’t phase the fit, and that’s wonderful.
Battery life

This is an area that’s easy to forget about with the right device. The more I use Razer products, the less I worry about battery life. For instance, the DeathAdder V4 Pro? Even with 8K, I’m getting days of charge out of it, with up to 150 hours with the right settings if you don’t need 8K. The BlackShark V3 Pro can wring 48-70 hours out of its battery, depending on what you use it with (PC or console). While the Wolverine maxes out around 20 hours, that’s pretty good for a wireless controller. Overall, you’re going to be happy with how long you can use your Razer devices.
All that aura

If it wasn’t clear just from previous collections, Razer offers quite the “library” of collaborations. Not only do the builds usually look slick, but the different colorways look amazing. The recent Dragon Lore collection with Counter-Strike is incredible, but Razer diving into their neon green in the Esports Green collection takes the cake. It’s striking, and on the Huntsman V3 Pro 8K and Kitsune you even get extra RGB to brighten up your desk even more. Plenty of companies offer different colors, few make an impression with them like Razer.
