Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap now available on PC

DotEmu and Lizardcube have announced that Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap is now available on PC. Previously released earlier this year on consoles, PC players can now experience the mix of nostalgic gameplay and hand-drawn graphics.

Boasting beautiful, hand-drawn animations and a re-orchestrated soundtrack, the 1989 classic returns with a unique blend of exploration, action, and adventure. Play as Lizard-Man, Mouse-Man, Piranha-Man, Lion-Man, and Hawk-Man, and use their unique abilities to uncover the land’s deepest secrets. Players can switch from the modern remake version and classic version at any time, as well as utilize the Sega Master passcode system in order to unlock old saves and progression. The PC release on Steam also adds trading cards into the mix as well.

Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap is now available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Check out our review of the Switch version here, and stay tuned for more news here on Gaming Trend.
