Waverace in HD? Kinect Sports Rivals pre-season on XB1 for launch

It was announced back in late July that Kinect Sports Rivals, Rare’s latest game targeting the living room athletics on the upcoming Xbox One, would not be available until the spring of 2014. This looked to leave a hole in the Kinect-only launch lineup – the other listed non-dance title is Fighter Within.

Today Microsoft announced that they would be releasing a “pre-season” version – that is, a fully playable game with at least one of the minigames – namely Wake Racing, including all the benefits of earning rewards, achievements and monthly challenges. The pre-season game is free on Xbox Live November 22 for Xbox One.
