Vanillaware’s gorgeous beat ’em up, Dragon’s Crown Pro, coming to the West in 2018, playable at PSX

Dragon’s Crown Pro, the updated version of Vanillaware’s medieval-fantasy beat ’em up, is finally coming to the west in Spring of 2018. This version includes refined artwork, 4K resolution support, a newly recorded soundtrack, and more.

In Dragon’s Crown Pro, players choose between a variety of heroes as they go on quests through the fantasy kingdom of Hydeland, leveling up and learning more skills as they go on. The six available adventurers, Fighter, Dwarf, Amazon, Wizard, Elf, and Sorceress, each have a unique set of abilities to keep the game fresh through multiple playthroughs. This game can also be played with friends online or through local couch co-op.

Players that have already gone through the game on PlayStation 3 do not have to worry about starting from scratch, Dragon’s Crown Pro allows players to access their old save data on the PlayStation 4. All patches and features including the Storyteller Voice Pack DLC will be included as well.

Dragon’s Crown Pro will be available to play PlayStation Experience on December 9th and December 10th at the Atlus/Sega booth in Hall B, #B210. The game will be released on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro in Spring of 2018. For more information on the game, visit the official website.
