Ubisoft announces Division open beta numbers

Ubisoft has confirmed that over 6.4 million players jumped in to Tom Clancy’s The Division’s open beta this past weekend, with the company calling it “the biggest beta ever for a new game brand on current generation platforms.”

Players apparently averaged 5 hours of playtime during the course of the beta according to Ubisoft, with the game’s free-for-all “Dark Zone” area proving to be particularly popular.
