The ever-popular Just Dance franchise will be getting yet another installment with Just Dance 2015 and Just Dance Now.
While Just Dance 2015 is another installment in the franchise, Just Dance Now will be bringing the dancing experience to phones.
“We’re taking the franchise to the next level this year by developing the most community-focused console game yet with Just Dance 2015, and by bringing the Just Dance experience to smartphones with Just Dance Now,” said Jason Altman, Executive Producer. “Expanding into mobile allows us to reach any Just Dance fan in any setting, with the potential to reach millions of additional players.”
Just Dance 2015 will be featuring an all new soundtrack, boasting artists like Pharrell (“Happy”), Ariana Grande (“Problem”), and Icona Pop (“I Love It”). This new product in the franchise will also feature a new mode called the “Community-Remix feature.” This will allow players to film themselves dancing, upload it, and then Ubisoft will vote on the best ones. Once the best are chosen, they will be placed within the game for others to compete against.
Just Dance Now is one of the more intriguing ideas of E3 as they plan to bring the dancing experience to mobile phones through a simple app download. Their steps go as follows:
- Download the Just Dance Now app on their iPhone®, iPod touch® or Android™ device.
- Visit JustDanceNow.com on any Internet-connected screen.
- Their phone will automatically sync and they’ll be ready to dance!
The track list will apparently include all the greatest hits of the Just Dance catalog, no word on what those hits are. (Hint: Just Dance by Lady Gaga)
No exact release dates were given for the two Just Dance titles.
