XGen Studios recently announced that it will release its upcoming game The Low Road on Steam July 26. The game, which had much involvement with late founder and CEO Skye Boyes, tasks players to become espionage agents with super-secret spy skills with point-and-click adventure mechanics.

Set within the 1970s, The Low Road follows Noomi Kovacs, an overeager graduate of the LeCarre Institute for Exceptional Spies, otherwise known as L.I.E.S. She dreams of becoming a secret agent, but must use deception and trickery to get the edge on her rivals. The game is a point-and-click graphic adventure game which follows a team of corporate spies dedicated to the protection (and appropriation) of game-changing industry secrets. Sporting a unique visual style inspired by gouache paintings and a pulsating experimental score, The Low Road will captivate players through intricate puzzles, branching moral dilemmas, and a quirky cast of memorable characters.

The Low Road will be released on Steam July 26. Check out the gallery of screenshots and trailers above, and stay tuned for more news here on Gaming Trend.
