The Joy Of Fishing Comes To Kinect

Yes, the joy of fishing. I wouldn’t know anything about it because I hate fishing. Maybe it’s because I’m not the biggest fan of fish as a part of my diet; I let fish oil pills compensate for that. But if fishing is your thing, then you’ll be happy to know that Rapala for Kinect  has been announced.

“Pro-anglers and family gamers will go crazy for the immersive fishing experience presented in a familiar arcade style format,” said David Oxford, Executive Vice President of Activision Publishing. “Rapala for Kinect  captures a simple and straightforward aesthetic with an emphasis on play!”

You’ll be using hand motions to cast an invisible rod this November.

Sean started playing video games in infancy. He was not given a choice as much as a directive from his parents to be the best gamer on Earth. Sean was subjected to 10-12 hours of rigorous daily gaming throughout his youth, mastering the most complex video games and dominating online competitions. Sean's symbiotic relationship with video games led to writing about them for various gaming websites, and he is currently involved in sales strategy and analytics at one of the largest video game publishers in the world. Sean's mission is simple: Turn 100% of the human population into gamers, willingly or otherwise.
