The Crew gets free upgrades with launch of WildRun

Ubisoft just released the WildRun addon to their MMO racer. With the release of this update, all players of The Crew get a free upgrade. Included are better graphics, new lighting effects, redesigned areas adapted for all types of vehicles and an all-new weather system.

WildRun adds four new vehicle types, specifically: dragsters, drift cars, monster trucks ,and motorcycles, and these can be used anywhere in the game. The new game mode, called The Summit, is a series of wide-ranging driving challenges presented over the course of several days where everyone is invited to compete. Summit qualifiers will pop up every couple of days, and at the end of the month the skilled few will be invited to compete in the monthly Summit challenge and win an exclusive vehicle.

You can get the addon online now, and it will be available on store shelves tomorrow for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
