During Nintendo’s Nindies Summer Showcase, Nintendo started their presentation with Super Meat Boy Forever, a thrilling sequel to Team Meat’s hit game, Super Meat Boy. Originally planned as an endless runner, it appears that Super Meat Boy Forever has gone over some changes since it was originally revealed.
Dr. Fetus is back to his old jackassery ways and has kidnapped Meat Boy and Bandage Girl’s son, Nugget. Face each level with a punch as you run forward, punch enemies out of the way, jump off walls and avoid plenty of buzz-saws. Each level is expected to get harder each time you replay it. Super Meat Boy Forever will also include online leader boards and daily challenges.
While Nintendo was the last to get Super Meat Boy on a console, it will be the first to get Super Meat Boy Forever when it is released in 2018.
