When the Oculus Rift was finally released publicly, it launched alongside several other titles expected to utilize the breakthrough in VR technology. One of these launch games was Playful Corp’s Lucky’s Tale. Lucky’s Tale was, surprisingly, a 3D platformer made similar to N64 era titles such as Banjo-Kazooie.
During the Microsoft press conference, a successor to Lucky’s Tale appeared titled Super Lucky’s Tale and follows the same criminally-adorable fox and a crazy cast of characters for him to interact with. Super Lucky’s Tale promises to be a fun adventure for all ages and follow the platformer genre well. The most curious thing about this release is that it’s a sequel to a VR focused game on a system that has not yet confirmed to have VR support.
Super Lucky’s Tale will launch on the Xbox One and Windows 10 on November 7th, 2017.
