Secret of Mana’s physical release will be limited, exclusive to GameStop

Square Enix announced today that its PlayStation 4 remake of the 1993 Action-RPG Secret of Mana will be released in limited physical quantities. In addition, the game’s physical release will be exclusive to GameStop in the United States and EB Games in Canada.

Originally developed by Square for the Super Nintendo as Seiken Densetsu 2 in Japan, Secret of Mana will feature new high-definition 3D graphics as well as a rearranged soundtrack and voice-over track. The game is confirmed to have an English voice cast with voice clips available on the official website, but it’s not confirmed whether or not the script will be updated from the Super Nintendo versione. Players who preorder the game will receive a special Moogle Suit for Randi, Primm and Popoi, a Tiger Two-Piece for Primm, and a Tiger Suit for Randi and Popoi.

In additional to being available both physically and digitally on the PlayStation 4, Secret of Mana will be available on the PlayStation Vita digitally only. There is not yet any information on whether or not the title will come to systems besides the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.

Secret of Mana will be released on February 15th, 2018. For more information, visit the official website.
