Today, Ubisoft announced a remastered version of its Rocksmith 2014 title for release in the fall. Releasing for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and Mac, players who already own a copy of Rocksmith 2014 on these platforms will be able to download a free patch later in the year to upgrade to this experience. Our review of Rocksmith 2014 said that it, “has done something I didn’t think was possible after its predecessor failed at the same task – it has made me want to learn the guitar and bass.”
Rocksmith 2014 Edition – Remastered will include 50 songs on disc, as well as an additional 800 songs for purchase as downloadable content. The game will come with a cu8stomizable learning curve, expanded practice tools, stat tracking, improved menus, and more. Six songs will be available for those owners of Rocksmith 2014 Edition – Remastered, and will be available to purchase for those that download the free patch:

- Elvis Presley “Suspicious Minds”
- FUN. “Some Nights”
- Jackson 5 “I Want You Back”
- Outkast “Hey Ya!”
- Train “Drops of Jupiter”
