Power Rangers: Legacy Wars gets a big update

Against all odds, I kinda liked the new Power Rangers movie. Who’d have thunk it? Now, the team at nWay has updated their free-to-play multiplayer fighting game, Power Rangers: Legacy, to include some brand new features to coincide with the new film. Adding the White Ranger, Mesogog, Purple Ranger, and a few more goodies, this battler looks like it could be pretty cool. Let’s see what else is on the list for this most recent update:

  • “Direct Match” Feature: Players can directly match with friends by first sharing a unique code with each other and then creating or joining a match outside of normal matchmaking
  • Players can also hone their skills amongst guild members by requesting a friendly matchPowerful New Warriors:
  • Legendary White Ranger from Dino Thunder
  • The monstrous Mesogog
  • The brilliant Purple Ranger
  • New Mesogog Island Arena: The mountainous sea-fortress where Mesogog and his evil lackeys conduct their experiments
  • Game Balancing and Bug Fixes: A slew of combat rebalances, bug fixes and network stability improvements

If you want to dig further into what’s new, there’s also some patch notes that goes over everything you can expect out of the update. Don’t take my word for it — try it yourself. It’s available for Android on Google Play, and iOS on the App Store.
