The latest tease of next generation baseball has been unveiled in a new PS4 gameplay trailer for MLB 14: The Show. The trailer shows a little of each facet of baseball within the game, and really impresses with it’s next level attention to detail. The PS4 version of MLB 14 The Show will be released May 6th.
This trailer serves the purpose of showing the hard work that went into the creation of the player, crowd, and stadium models that make up the visual aspects of the game. This tad bit of grandstanding is wrapped nicely in a montage of great baseball plays, which very nicely shows off the visual as well as the gameplay mechanics that, as of yet, we still know not how much they will be improved in this first step up. While we will need to wait for the game to arrive to know just how well it plays, this trailer completely blows away the mind with how well it looks. It is the first game to arrive that truly makes the PlayStation 3 look archaic.
MLB 14 The Show is available on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita consoles and will be available on the PlayStation 4 on May 6th.
