Platinum Games has revealed new details on its online multiplayer mode.
Siliconera reports that the game’s cooperative mode will be called “Tag Climax,” and will allow you, a friend or a CPU partner to fight groups of enemies and powerful bosses together.
When playing online you and your co-op partner can bet in-game currency, which will be awarded to the player with the higher score after a match.
Players can pick their character and weapon load out, both of which can be unlocked through playing the game’s single player campaign.
Bayonetta 2 will be released exclusively on Wii U this October. Platinum Games is already considering its options for a third Bayonetta game should the opportunity to make one arise.
