Today, NCSOFT launched its latest Action RPG/MOBA game Master X Master in North America and Europe. The free-to-play game is available now on PC, and features a gameplay system focused on changing playable heroes during PVP and PVE play.
“The launching of MXM is a landmark event for NCSOFT as we simultaneously embrace a new genre and move forwards into pursuing the title as part of our esports initiatives along with Blade & Soul,” said Tom Nichols, Senior Vice President of Publishing, NCSOFT. “With 20 years of NCSOFT’s legacy to draw upon for content, and the multitudes of ways to play, we can’t wait for players to jump in and start playing the game.”
In MXM, players use playable Masters to compete against adversaries in 5v5, 3v3, and PVE modes while switching characters at any time during a match. Some skills persist even after swapping, so players can find synergies between Masters, which can lead to some deadly in-game combinations. In addition, MXM will feature mini-games that incorporate both co-op and competitive gameplay, which will be rolled out in the coming weeks.
