Microsoft drops the price bomb – Xbox One to be $499

xbo

Microsoft just announced during their E3 press conference that the Xbox One will launch this November with a hefty $499.99 price tag. This does include the new Kinect, which accounts for some of that cost. That puts the price at $150 more than the Wii U (the Gamepad bundle) and half the price of the Piston Steam Box. Sony has yet to announce the price of the PlayStation 4 but, suffice it to say, this is an opportunity for them to price aggressively and undercut Microsoft.
