Mario Kart’s Anti-Gravity Comes to Smash Bros.

Nintendo has revealed a new stage for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U based on Mario Kart 8.

Originating from Mario Kart 8 means the Mario Circuit stage flips upside down similar to tracks in the Wii U game in order to take advantage of the game’s anti-gravity mechanic. When the stage shifts upside down, incoming Shy Guys will collide with the fighter’s on the track.

You can check out some screenshots of the stage below.

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U is slated for release on November 21st alongside the launch of the first wave of Amiibos. For more on the latest iteration of Nintendo’s crossover fighter, check out Gaming Trend’s review.
