King of the Hill gets Crazy, Clockwork City and more in today’s The Elder Scrolls Online update

Today, The Elder Scrolls Online received both the Clockwork City DLC and Update 16 on consoles. Clockwork City DLC introduced Clockwork City, a new zone, as well as a new story quest line with around 10 hours of adventure. Clockwork City DLC is available for free for all ESO Plus Members, or for 2,000 Crowns via the in-game Crown Store.

In addition to Clockwork City, Update 16 has also gone live as a free base game update. This includes numerous fixes, balance changes, performance improvements, and more. One of these additional features is the Trait Tracker system, which gives players the ability to see whether or not they’ve researched a certain trait on an item.

Crazy Kings has also been added as a new Battlegrounds game type. In this game, players seize a capture point location that jumps around the map randomly.

Finally, The Elder Scrolls Online has received its Xbox One X enhancements. These enhancements include:

  • Native 4K resolution
  • True HDR
  • View distance greatly increased
  • Upgraded shadows with Screen Space Ambient Occlusion
  • Upgraded real-time water reflections

The Elder Scrolls Online’s Clockwork City DLC and Update 16 are available now for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players. Clockwork City is already available on PC and Mac. For more information, visit the official website.
