NetherRealm has announced that Friday the 13th villain Jason Voorhees will be a playable character in Mortal Kombat X.
Voorhees will be part of the game’s $29.99 season pass, dubbed the “Kombat Pack,” that will also be available for free to those who buy the game’s collector’s editions. The season pass will feature Voorhees, a second guest character, and two “Klassic Mortal Kombat Kombatants,” according to Warner Bros.
Owners of the game’s season pass will get additional character skins and early access to pieces of DLC before they’re available to other players.
Mortal Kombat X was recently delayed for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 players, but the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One versions are still on track for release on April 14th. NetherRealm recently confirmed the game would be coming to mobile platforms.
