Chex Quest, the Doom mod you could find in your box of cereal in 1996, is receiving an HD remake.
The game’s artist Charles Jacobi is currently working on a remaster in Unreal Engine 4. Because this project is being pursued after hours, there is no definitive timeline for its completion.
Chex Quest received two sequels, one in 1997 and one in 2008, but instead of creating a Chex Quest 4, Jacobi is opting to revisit the original game.
