GameStop Holding Mario Kart 8 Demo Event This Week
Players who want a chance to play the upcoming Mario Kart 8 will have a chance later this week.
Nintendo has announced that the Wii U game will be playable at participating GameStop locations during the weekend of May 17-18 as part of “Mario Kart 8 Test Drive Days.”
The event will be held 12-4 PM local time and players who have already pre-ordered the kart racer will receive a double sided poster.
If you’re interested in checking out the game before it releases at the end of the month, GameStop has released the list of over 2,700 stores participating in the Mario Kart 8 Test Drive Days event.
Nintendo recently revealed that the company has suffered from its third consecutive annual loss but it appears to be looking to combat the Wii U’s poor sales with games like Mario Kart 8 and the next iteration of Super Smash Bros.
Mario Kart 8 is slated for release exclusively for Wii U on May 30th.
