How Frostbite Helped Create Dragon Age: Inquisition’s World

Bioware has released a new video for Dragon Age: Inquisition delving in to how the studio utilized the Frostbite 3 engine in order to create the game’s world.

This is the first time a Dragon Age game has been developed in the Frostbite engine, and it helped the team at Bioware create individual maps that were bigger than the entirety of Dragon Age II’s world.

Despite Inquisition’s success, Bioware isn’t releasing a new game in the series this year to capitalize on that success. The studio has also confirmed that not all Bioware games will be following the template of Inquisition, specifically the upcoming Mass Effect game.

Inquisition was recently recognized by the GLAAD for its portrayal of LGBT characters.
