Over the weekend, a new English trailer for Final Fantasy XV was released, and it shows the game’s more open cities for players to explore, some huge boss fights that they’ll encounter, as well as introduces the game’s iteration of Cid.
Cid is a recurring name in the series, but this time they will be called Cidney as it features the first female version of the character in the series’ history.
Final Fantasy XV is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2015. While the game has been in development for nearly a decade, Final Fantasy XV was originally known as the PlayStation 3 exclusive Final Fantasy Versus XIII. The game’s migration to current-gen consoles and subsequent change in title increased development time expontentially, thus, the game is only 55% complete as of this September.
A demo for the game will come with Final Fantasy Type-0’s first shipment, and will have about 3-4 hours worth of content.
