Sony recently held a poll to determine what game the Japanese audience wanted to see a remake of on current hardware most was, and the answer was, unsurprisingly, Final Fantasy VII.
The results feature many other Square games, such as Dragon Quest VIII, both mainline Kingdom Hearts games, as well as Final Fantasy IX and X.
Resident Evil games also showed up on the list multiple times, the first and sixth iterations specifically.
