Fight in the Ghost War, Play Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands for free this weekend

As a promotion for the release of the widely anticipated PvP update for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands, Ubisoft has announced that the game will be available to play for free from October 12th to October 15th.

Ghost War is a 4-versus-4 team deathmatch experience that builds on the tactical squad play from the main game, where strategy is equally as important as skill. Using one of the 12 distinct classes, each with their own varied characteristics, weapons, perks and customization options, players will engage with enemies across eight unique maps. Ghost War also integrates new PvP mechanics, including suppressing fire and sound markers, to create a strategic and intense team-based multiplayer mode.

New players will have access to Ghost War and all of the base game’s content. In addition, all editions of Ghost Recon Wildlands will be 50% and new players will have the ability to transfer their progress to the full game.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands will be free this weekend only from October 12th to October 15th on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC via Uplay. PC players have the ability to preload the game today to start playing as soon as the free weekend begins. Ghost War will be released as a free update on October 10th.
