Dark Souls Hungry for Aspiring Artists

Knight

Namco Bandai, publisher of the brutally unforgiving, yet tactically sound RPG Demon’s Souls, has just kicked off a contest to feature your heraldry on a shield in the upcoming sequel.  Interested artists need only download the blank templates from the game’s Facebook page and turn around their best designs before July 13th.  The top ten winners will then be decided by a popular vote held through July 20th, when the developers at FromSoftware will choose which three make into the game.

Each of the ten winners will receive a copy of Dark Souls signed by game director Hidetaka Miyazaki. The final 3 winners will see their designs brought to life for all time in the Dark Souls universe, and will receive a signed copy of the limited edition game plus their names in the game credits, ensuring immortality no matter how many times they die while playing.
