Danny McBride, MLB The Show team up in new video

A new video has been released for MLB The Show 14, starring comedic actor Danny McBride, boasting on why “Baseball is Better.”  The nearly two minute clip features McBride superimposed over in-game footage from the PlayStation 4 version of the game.  MLB The Show 14 is available now on the PlayStation 3 and Vita systems, and will be available for the PlayStation 4 on May 6th.

The graphics for The Show 14 are top notch and Danny McBride is wildly funny, as always.  Much has been said about the great gameplay and impressive graphics that are sure to come with the PS4’s first version of The Show, so it’s nice to see a video that’s focused more on the appreciation of the sport rather than appreciation of the video game for the sport.  Throughout the clip, McBride breaks down why baseball is better than football, basketball, and “ping-pong.”  Both McBride and MLB The Show 14’s performances in the video are worthy of “a game so fine, it’s played on diamonds.”

MLB The Show 14 is the critically acclaimed baseball game franchise from SCE Studios San Diego, and is available on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita consoles.  The Show 14 will be available for the PlayStation 4 console on May 6th.
