Cthulhu spreading like a virus in Pandemic

First there was Pandemic and its many expansions.  Fighting disease never felt so good.  Then it spread like a Contagion.  After that The Cure was found in the roll of the dice.  Then every game had weight as it got the Legacy treatment.  Now the Ancient Ones will be spreading in Pandemic: Reign of Cthulhu.

F2Z Entertainment, proud publisher of the brands Filosofia, Z-Man Games, Pretzel Games and Plaid Hat Games, is very excited to officially announce the upcoming release of Pandemic: Reign of Cthulhu.

Inspired by the terrifying Lovecraft mythology, game designer Chuck D. Yager and Pandemic creator Matt Leacock have joined forces to conceive a game like no other.

As investigators, players will be burdened with the close-to-impossible task of sealing cosmic portals around worrying locations before beings of ancient evil, known as Old Ones, break out of their prison and awake into the world. But where to start when your every move could lead you to pure insanity?

Pandemic: Reign of Cthulhu will be released at Gen Con 2016, in Indianapolis. More details to come in the next few weeks.

Will we be seeing cubes as Cultist and other horrific delights?  Will this replace Arkham Horror or Eldritch Horror in many libraries?  Don’t go insane waiting for more details, as we’ll get them to you as soon as we can.

While not working as a Database Administrator, Keith Schleicher has been associated with Gaming Trend since 2003. While his love of video games started with the Telestar Alpha (a pong console with four different games), he trule started playing video games when he received the ill-fated TI-99/4A. While the Speech Synthesizer seemed to be the height of gaming, eventually a 286 AT computer running at 8/12 Hz and a CGA monitor would be his outlet for a while. Eventually he’d graduate to 386, 486, Pentium, and Athlon systems, building some of those systems while doing some hardware reviews and attending Comdex. With the release of the Dreamcast that started his conversion to the console world. Since then he has acquired an NES, SNES, PS2, PS3, PSP, GBA-SP, DS, Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One S, Gamecube, Wii, Switch, and Oculus Quest 2. While not playing video games he enjoys bowling, reading, playing board games, listening to music, and watching movies and TV. He originally hails from Wisconsin but is now living in Michigan with his wife and sons.
