Crucial shows off new Ballistix DDR4 SODIMM memory

Crucial has long been one of the go-to names for high-end memory, and today they’ve announced their next iteration in that space — the Ballistix Sport LT.  These DDR4 SODIMMS are purpose-built for gamers and performance enthusiasts in the laptop or small form factor mini-PC space.  These memory modules will ship at speeds starting at 2400 MT/s, and will support Intel XMP 2.0, if your board supports it.

The Ballistix Sport LT DDR4 SODIMM modules should be available shortly after you read this for purchase at www.crucial.com and global partners like Amazon in module sizes up to 16GB on a single SODIMM, and they’ll come on a black PCB, which we all know makes it much faster.  As usual, Crucial’s memory carries with it a limited lifetime warranty, but check the official site for your country and their specific rules.

If you’ve ever wondered how Crucial makes their Ballistix line of memory, check out the short video above.
