Stardew Valley, the breakout hit farming game on PC, is headed for a December 13th U.S. release date for the PlayStation 4. In a PlayStation Blog post the game’s developer, Eric Barone, announced the upcoming release, and shared a few thoughts on the game. The popular “country life RPG” will also be released on PlayStation 4 in Europe on December 14th.
“I am thrilled to see Stardew Valley come to PS4.” said Barone. “Bringing the game to PS4 opens the Stardew Valley experience to so many new people, and I can’t wait to hear about everyone’s experience with the game.”
In Stardew Valley, you’ll inherit your grandfather’s old farm and move away from the city to start a new life on your own. Over time, you’ll gain new skills and learn to live off the land. You’ll make friends with the locals, learn their stories, and maybe even start a family with one of the 12 bachelors or bachelorettes.
