Capcom is bundling the first six Mega Man games in a Legacy Collection

Capcom has announced plans to release a Mega Man “Legacy Collection” for 3DS, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One this year.

The compilation will contain the first six Mega Man games all running at 1080p with additional features like a Challenge Mode, leaderboards, and a museum for fans to view concept art and more of all six games all for $14.99.

The PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One versions of the Legacy Collection will be available this summer, while the 3DS version is projected for release sometime in the winter.

The release of the Mega Man Legacy Collection is in line with Capcom’s new plan to prioritize HD remasters. The company has recently released upscaled versions of the original Resident Evil and the Devil May Cry reboot, and claims that it has seen financial returns from this strategy.
