Alien: Isolation receives first DLC pack, “Corporate Lockdown”

One of the five promised Alien: Isolation DLC packs have released today and it goes by the name “Corporate Lockdown.”

Corporate Lockdown will bring three brand new maps to the Survivor Mode found within Alien: Isolation. There will also be some new challenges for the player in the main game. These challenges will bring about even more information in regards to what happened aboard the Sevestapool Station leading up to the games events. To top it off, there will be a brand new character playable as well as a new game mode.

In ‘Corporate Lockdown’, Seegson Executive Ransome has learnt that he has been abandoned by his paymasters. Knowing that the Torrens is on the way, he decides to make his escape and hitch a ride on board, taking decoded Nostromo data with him. However, while escaping he wants to tie up a few loose ends…

The new mode being detailed is called “Gauntlet Mode,” and it seems to play as the name sounds. You run through the three challenge maps in succession without dying, and you then compare times with other folks via leaderboards.

Corporate Lockdown is part of the Alien: Isolation Season Pass or can be downloaded individually for $7.99.
