3DS reaps new Harvest Moon

This week’s Famitsu announced a new Harvest Moon game for the 3DS. Called Linking the New World (in Japanese, at least, the English title might differ), you will be playing a farmer in Oaktree Town. The game is reported to be about 80 percent complete.

There are scarce details about the new edition, but farmwork is supposed to become a bit easier than before. The game will also feature a lot more wild animals, as well as a safari you can partake in. There will be an increase in the number of countries you can trade with as well. This time around, there will also be a tutorial character available to teach the olde and ancient art of farming to Harvest Moon newcomers.

Tom has been gaming ever since he could walk. As soon as he got his hands on an NES, his childhood revolved around the adventures of Mario and Link. Later on, he switched to Playstation, but eventually became a PC fanboy, and to this day it still remains his platform of choice. Tom studies law at Ghent University, Belgium and next to video games, his hobbies are a variety of martial arts, playing rugby and once in a while he also does a CrossFit workout.
