At Microsoft’s Gamescom press conference today, 343 Industries revealed plans to launch a hub for Halo content called the Halo Channel later this year.
The Twitch-powered Halo Channel will allow players to watch the live-action feature Halo: Nightfall, behind-the-scenes videos, Halo streams and gameplay previews all in one convenient app.
Using the app will allow players to complete challenges that will net them points, but what those points will do is not yet clear.
Much of the Halo Channel linked to Halo: Nightfall, the upcoming live-action series that will lead into Halo 5: Guardians. For more on Nightfall, check out the first look that was unveiled last month.
