A Tour of the PlayStation Experience Show Floor

Anyone who’s been to a convention or any sort of industry event will tell you that, when you’re not bumping into other attendees, being on the show floor is a pretty awesome experience. Not only are there games to play and people to talk to, but there’s a lot of work that goes into making a spectacle out of the event with crazy stylized booths and people dressed up as your favorite characters.

Gaming Trend is currently in Vegas covering the PlayStation Experience, and we thought it would fun to show you guys some of the stuff we’re seeing on the show floor.

Booths

Sony has some pretty great booths around to showcase its upcoming games. Games like Until Dawn, The Order: 1886, and Bloodborne have elaborate set ups inspired by the games themselves, but surprisingly, Sony also has games on display that are already out. Games that I recall seeing specifically that have already hit store shelves include Infamous: Second Son, LittleBigPlanet 3, and even Uncharted: Golden Abyss, which is nearing three years old. Even so, these old games resulted in some pretty long lines.

Here’s some shots of the booths featured at the PlayStation Experience:

Displays

Usually surrounding the booths are statues and displays of characters or events in the games they’re set up for. At PlayStation Experience I reunited with Galahad, saw some impressive Bloodborne weapon replicas, as well as took a trip down PlayStation memory lane with a display that had every PlayStation system playable going back to the original system.

Mascots

A Tour of the PlayStation Experience Show Floor

Much to my delight, there are plenty of people dressed up in costumes of PlayStation characters walking around the PlayStation Experience. Characters as old as Parappa the Rapper to as recent as Knack were seen walking around, eager to take pictures with passing by fans.

Check out some of the mascots we saw at PlayStation Experience (with apologies for my ugly mug being in most of the pictures):
