The four tables are so good, that I felt the other tables upgraded to the new engine showed their flaws more than in Pinball FX. Yes, the graphics, colors, and lighting of the old tables look much better, and the ball physics the new engine bring to them works nicely. However, these upgrades show how poorly designed the tables are, making them feel clunky, slow, and difficult to play. Compared to the new four tables, I found myself constantly hitting blank walls, struggling to hit a specific target, lane, or ramp.
