Dark Souls III gameplay demo – Xbox Spring Showcase

Ok, I admit it — I never really played much Dark Souls. I did, however, recently get a chance to try out a near-final version of Dark Souls III at the Xbox Spring Showcase! While I am fairly terrible at it, I did get a good look at the game, and I am beginning to see the allure. Feel free to check out this near-20 minutes of fresh footage, leading up to the first boss in the game.

Oh, and enjoy watching me die a few times. Apparently that’s also some of the allure. I’ll be having one of our Dark Souls veterans review it, so don’t worry. While you load up the footage, enjoy a bevy of brand new screenshots as well.

Dark Souls III is heading to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on March 24th.
