Sid Meier’s Starships Announced, Takes Place in Civilization: Beyond Earth World

2K and Firaxis have announced a new game from the mind of Sid Meier called Sid Meier’s Starships.

The turn-based strategy game will come to iPad, Mac, and PC sometime in early 2015, will have players commanding fleets in space combat, and is set in the same universe as Civilization: Beyond Earth.
