The first two installments were pretty eye-opening, but today we’ve got part 3 of the Unreal Engine 4 VFX in the Infiltrator Demo series. This one focus specifically on the incredible fireball that happens in that demo. Epic’s Francois Antoine and Zack Parrish return to give voice to how this incredible effect was built using Unreal Engine 4.
It doesn’t take a genius to look at this list and interpret that Unreal Engine ruled the previous generation. From Mass Effect, Killer is Dead, Bloodmasque on mobile devices, to the Bioshock trilogy, the Unreal Engine 3 suite brought the best games of the last decade to life. I have no doubt that this is a trend we’ll see continue into the current generation of upcoming Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC titles.
