NetherRealm Reveals Factions Mode for Mortal Kombat X

NetherRealm has released a new behind-the-scenes look at Mortal Kombat X focusing on how the studio wanted to usher in a new era for the series.

The “Next” video has members of NetherRealm discussing their history with the series, and how their experience playing Mortal Kombat informed the development process for Mortal Kombat X.

Within the video, the studio reveals the new Factions mode, which will have players aligning with one of multiple groups in order to culminate wins across weekly and daily challenges.

Mortal Kombat X is coming to PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 on April 14th.
