Life is Strange Episode 1 will be releasing in just a few days and Square Enix has unveiled one last launch trailer for the product, which can be found above.
The new trailer shows off the main setup of the story and includes the main two characters, Max and Chloe, interacting with one another. The trailer also features the line “home shit home,” which I plan on working into my everyday vocabulary from here on out.
Life is Strange’s Episode 1, entitled Chrysalis, will serve as an introduction to the world you will be exploring in the following four episodes. Developer DONTNOD states that the first episode will focus more on choices and story rather than actual puzzles. They also promise to consistently surprise the player with unexpected turns of events that will always feel unique.
Life is Strange’s Chrysalis will be available January 31st for the PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC. Regarding the price, DONTNOD states “at $4.99 [per episode] you get 2 to 4 hours of gameplay (depending on how you play)… and it’s cheaper than a beer!”
That’s some damn sound logic. You can purchase the whole season for $19.99.
